Craig Horn

High School Athletic Director

Athletic Director / Head Football Coach for Italy ISD

I graduated from Hubbard High School in my hometown of Hubbard, Texas. I received my B.S. in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.

I was hired by Italy ISD in 2018 after my then-undefeated Tenaha Tigers football team competed in the 2017 UIL Class 2A Division II State Championship game, finishing as the State Runner-up.

I have been coaching for 16 years. During my prior 12 years as an Athletic Director/Head Football Coach, my win-loss record was 101-28.

 AD/HFC at Tenaha from 2015-18 — 37-8 record

 AD/HFC at Hubbard from 2011-14 — 34-12 record

 AD/HFC at Itasca from 2007-10 — 30-8 record

Assistant Coach at La Marque 2002-06 (2003 UIL 4A State Champions)

When not in the fieldhouse, in the weight room, or on the gridiron, I enjoy horseback riding with my 7 sons and spending time on our family farm.
