Track Season is upon us! The High School Gladiators and Lady Gladiators COMPETED on Thursday, March 5th at Blooming Grove. Come support these athletes as they compete in Keene on Thursday, March 12th- Field events begin at 8:30 am. They have the Gladiator FIGHT within them! Come cheer them on!

The Junior High Gladiators and Lady Gladiators stepped on to the track in Blooming Grove on Monday, March 2nd and COMPETED! Many events were a first for our athletes, many stepped out of their comfort zone, and ALL showed their Gladiator Spirit! Well done!

Italy ISD will not be making up the day of school we missed on January 28, 2026. The Texas Education Agency has granted us a waiver (like an excused absence) for the day because of the extreme weather conditions at the time.

If you believe your student would benefit from gifted and talented services, please complete the attached form and return the documentation to the secondary GT coordinator, Holly Bradley, by February 18, 2026.

Stafford Elementary will begin accepting 1st through 6th grade Parent Nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program beginning today. The nomination form describes some characteristics of possible gifted students as you consider your nomination. As most of you are aware, the city of Italy has been without water most of the day. At this time we do not know whether it will be repaired in time for school tomorrow. We will text you again by 6:00AM to let you know if school is able to be held or will have to be cancelled. Stay tuned. Thank you!

Italy Floral Design students are selling candy bouquets again this year! Bouquets are $15 each and will contain 6 pieces of candy. Orders with payment are due to Ms. Harton by February 5th. Bouquets can be picked up on February 12th. If you need your bouquet delivered, please mark that on your order form. Email Ms. Harton if you have any questions!
